Moses seemed mad at the people... I've heard him saying that "because of you, the Lord is angry at me". Sounded sad. All he could do is to stand across Jordon and looked at the promised land. Argh, felt the pain for him... but nonetheless, we should never disobey God because of others. God holds us accountable for our own actions.
