The ruins of Beersheba

Tending the sheeps...
Jocab worked for Laban for 14 years in exchanged for his daughters, and another 6 years for the sheeps... it's interesting, because so far, other than the 2 ladies (Rebekah and Rachel) who seemed to be very nice, went to fetch water for the various people and in the end got married (oh, Rachel was very beautiful), most of the other ladies in Genesis so far were just fighting, whining about not being able to have children... Yes, I believed it was a very impt thing to carry on the line... but were they thinking of the Abrahamic covenant? Realised, all they did were fightings and in the end, they died... nothing else were recorded of their lives... I wonder if that's the hint I'm getting? That a married life might just end up like that... Before married, the ladies were so nice.. after... alright...
And Jacob didn't help much by allowing the ladies to do what they want... Where's the leadership that he could have provided? A lot of thoughts... things could have been better if he had put the ladies in their places... oh well, without all these, he wouldn't have 12 sons... which in turn became the greatest 12 tribes... and came Joseph, the next one carrying on the covenant. God sure has a way to make things work. Praise the Lord.
